What We Do For Our Mentees

Have you recently enrolled in the Clinical, Industrial/Organizational, or General Psychology Master’s program at West Chester University? If so, consider finding a mentor through the Graduate Psychology Mentoring Program at WCU.

The program is designed to help incoming students in a variety of ways. The most notable include providing support and wisdom from someone who "knows the ropes" and help establish and maintain successful peer relationships. Structured mentoring relationships help with:

  • Developing time management skills

  • Navigating the graduate process

  • Getting feedback on presentations & proposals

  • Learning about service opportunities

  • Understanding campus policies & procedures

  • Broadening campus visibility & networking

Once matched, you and your mentor will schedule monthly meetings. You can use that time to discuss the topics that will help you with your academic and professional development at West Chester University.
